Team Off-site & Team Building
High-Impact Team Experiences.
Looking to turn your next off-site or QBR into something your team will actually remember and learn from?
At FlightPad, we combine immersive flight simulator experiences with professional team development sessions to create a unique environment for reflection, alignment and performance under pressure.
This is where teams step away from day-to-day operations and focus on how they actually perform together — especially when it matters most.
What can your team expect?
A fully facilitated, immersive off-site designed to bring your team together through real-world aviation challenges. Every session is delivered by professional pilots and tailored to your group’s size and objectives.
Here is a sample itinerary to give you a glimpse into what your team can expect at FlightPad:
Your day begins in the FlightPad Lounge with a relaxed welcome and introduction from your instructor team.
We set the tone for the day, outline the challenges ahead, and introduce the core principles that will underpin everything your team experiences — communication, leadership, and decision-making under pressure.
Teams are then formed and briefed on how the simulators and scenarios work, before moving into the first activity block.
Step into the role of a pilot and take control of a commercial aircraft simulator.
Each participant gets hands-on time in the cockpit, guided by real airline pilots, as your team competes in a precision landing challenge across major international airports.
This session is designed to bring out:
- Clear communication under pressure
- Individual confidence in unfamiliar environments
- Friendly competition and shared team momentum
Teams pause for a relaxed lunch in the FlightPad Lounge or nearby dining options.
This is a key part of the day — a chance to reflect on the morning, connect informally, and reset before the afternoon activities.
The dynamic shifts from individual performance to full team coordination.
In a high-pressure, scenario-based exercise, your team must work together to safely land an aircraft after an unexpected pilot incapacitation.
Success depends on:
- Leadership emerging in real time
- Calm, structured communication
- Effective delegation and decision-making
This is where teams naturally reveal how they operate under pressure — and where the biggest learning moments happen.

Depending on your goals, the afternoon can include one of the following focused experiences:
Aviation Human Factors & Performance Session
An interactive debrief exploring how pilots make decisions, manage stress, and avoid error in complex environments — directly mapped to workplace performance.
Airport Operations & Systems Insight
A behind-the-scenes look at how major airports operate, including sequencing, runway logic, and real-world operational flow.
Extended Simulator Flying Time
Additional cockpit time with tailored instructor feedback and advanced challenges.
The day concludes with a final team-based flying challenge designed to bring together everything learned.
This is followed by a structured debrief led by your instructors, connecting the experience back to workplace themes such as leadership styles, communication patterns, and decision-making under pressure.
Teams leave with a shared experience that feels genuinely different from a typical offsite — memorable, hands-on, and grounded in real-life competency-based training.
